Friday May 26, Team Dark Side was on location at Seaman Stadium in Okotoks as part of the Field Of Dreams - First Annual Charity Classic. The baseball tournament featured players and alumni from the Calgary Stampeders, the Calgary Flames and the Okotoks Dawgs battling one another on the field! |

Dark Side Racing was on location with PROSTAID Calgary and we were positioned front and centre, next to the main entrance. We had a great special guest join us for the Fire Up. Stephanie Hart! Stephanie is the wife of famed pro wrestler, Bret “Hitman” Hart. Bret is a member of the famous Hart wrestling dynasty "The Hart family", one of the best known in our city. |

| Stephanie had a blast in the cockpit and she was awesome – she kept her foot hard on the clutch and her hand firm on the brake. Bret and Stephanie were both awesome – they hung around after the Fire Up and took pictures and chatted with our crew. Thank you Bret and Stephanie! | |

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Brian Jean (Leader of the Opposition and leader of the Wildrose Party) at the Field of Dreams event. What a great experience! Mr. Jean was interesting and thoughtful and engaging. The Dark Side crew was thrilled when he came over and chatted. We held an impromptu photo op and best of all, Brian hopped into the cockpit of the dragster! What a blast! |
