Kids Cancer Care invited the Dark Side Racing team to join them Sept 27 at Camp Kindle. Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta is a charitable organization that helps families fighting childhood cancer in Alberta. Their programs are uniquely designed to meet the needs of the whole family at each stage of the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. The foundation helps Alberta children and families by providing funding and programs in four key areas: Camp, Outreach, Research, Hospital Programs & Scholarships.

---------- On Sept 26-28 Camp Kindle hosted their Fall Family Camp. The Fall Family Camp offers families at all stages of the cancer journey a chance to relax and unwind after a busy summer. Dark Side Racing joined the families on Saturday afternoon for a delicious and nutritious lunch and then it was time to make some noise. It was a chilly day in Water Valley but everyone gathered around. First, we invited the kids to hop in and see what the view looks like from the cockpit of a Top Fuel Dragster. After the kids had their fun, it was time for one lucky adult to have some serious adult fun. We easily found a volunteer to assume the "seat of honor" and it was time to fire up the Dark Side Racing Top Fuel Dragster! The kids and adults roared with cheers of approval - they had never seen a "real" race car before and everyone loved it! We hope to see you all again next year at Camp Kindle.
