Rides’N’Rods is Highland Industrial Park’s community show & shine for special interest vehicles, with over 200 exhibiting vehicles and exhibits, music, burgers, prizes, draws and raffles. The show takes place at 40 Ave & Edmonton Trail NE.

On Sunday June 30, PCCN Calgary hosted their 5th Annual Show & Shine at the Grey Eagle Casino. The Dark Side Racing Top Fuel Dragster was in attendance and organized a fundraiser as part of the festivities. Dark Side Racing fans and PCCN Calgary supporters alike had the opportunity to "Sit in the Dragster". Donations were welcomed and more than $300 was raised. Thank you Calgary!

Families across Canada will come together this Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th, to celebrate the men they love at Prostate Cancer Canada’s Safeway Father’s Day Walk/Run. This annual event sponsored by Canada Safeway will see residents in 15 cities across the country lace up their running shoes to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer.

Dark Side is partnering with PCCN Calgary to promote men’s health. The Dark Side Top Fuel Dragster, driven by David Fedorowich, will carry the PCCN Calgary logo throughout the 2013 Car Show/Racing Season.

PCCN Calgary's Mission Statement:
Our objective is to assist and support patients, families and friends by informing, empathizing and reassuring men on their journey with prostate cancer. By sharing our experiences with our own cancer we lift our spirits and strengthen our resolve to fight for quality of life and a cure.

Hats off to John Moore and the Nifty Fifty's Ford Club.
With over 500 cars in attendance, I think it's safe to say that the 2013 Spring Thaw Car Show was a huge success.

Dark Side Racing was in attendance with our Top Fuel Dragster and our Dart. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd!
We look forward to next year's event!

Dark Side Racing was thrilled to be a part of this years World of Wheels. We have to give a shout out to Tom and Cathy Meheden - they supplied a top notch venue for Calgary's gearheads and car buffs!
Calgary is home to some incredibly passionate drag racing enthusiasts and we weren't at all surprised that almost everyone we chatted with (and there were many!) asked us about the status of Rockyview Motorsports Park. Sadly, our inquiries remain unanswered so, at this time, no new information appears to be forthcoming. Rest assured, we will keep you up to date if we hear anything.
